Limited Print 'Four Sunny Flowers'
Artwork Description
Squint your eyes (or take off your reading glasses), and you’ll see flowers. Each “flower” is made from an individual bluegill caught in Strawbridge Lake in Moorestown, NJ. We regularly go fishing so that we can have as many different individual fish as possible in our art. The cyanotypes are printed on watercolor paper, developed with UV light (usually in the sun), rinsed, and then finally dried.
The original version of this print was shown in the Perkins Members and Faculty Exhibit at the Perkins Center for the Arts, in Moorestown, NJ, May-July 2021.
